Sprout’s roots
We set up Sprout to offer flexible finance services to SMEs with a sustainable strand and entrepreneurs with ethical aspirations.
So don’t think we work with any old Tom, Dick or Sally. No sir. Just ethical businesses that are helping people and/or the planet – positive folks who are making their mark.
We’re proud to offer industry experience and business and strategic skills you won't find at high street accountants. And we’re keen to help you feel comfortable chatting about the finer points of your finances, adding fun, teamwork and the finest finance skills to your business.
You won’t find sounder co-founders
Our co-founders are big on purpose, principles and having a positive impact. They’re using their finance superpowers to help businesses that want to do the same.
Kate has been counting beans for more than 20 years. That’s a lot of beans. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a big four firm in London and has spent the rest of her career partnering with speedily scaling SMEs.
Kyle is all about service with a smile, putting the fun in finance function and making business a bit brighter. He also reckons he’s the funny one.
A mission? An ambition? Whatever you call it, we want to help world-changers grow ethical businesses with strong foundations.

Good stuff we’re up to
We do great work for good people. We also try to do some good ourselves.
Each year, we donate 3% of our team's contracted hours to charity and support two sustainability start-ups free of charge. We’re also Accredited Living Wage Employers and donate 1% of our revenue to tackle environmental issues.
