I am dropping you a note to say thank you.

During our time together at …. you were endlessly patient with me as I struggled to get to grips with the nuances of financial reporting. The budgeting process, behind the scenes commercial management and financial analysis were all new to me, but you never made me feel inadequate. You always had time to answer my questions, you always explained why and never put me off with a 'it just does' response.

Today I find myself in a role where that knowledge and skill is fundamental to my day-to-day. I own the financials! I am building the reporting process and am setting up my own documentation. The confidence I have today in my new role is totally down to you. So thank you for all those chats, catch ups and explanations.
